Got a Waladi cloth nappy in your showbag?
The first 50 expo showbags include one Waladi pocket cloth nappy and one microfibre insert. Follow these four steps before the first wear.
Wash before use
Wash the nappy and insert before their first use. Avoid fabric softener because it can reduce absorbency.
Stuff the pocket
Slide the microfibre insert fully inside the opening at the back. Microfibre should not sit directly against your baby’s skin.
Adjust the size
Use the front rise snaps to shorten or lengthen the nappy. Waladi one-size nappies are designed for approximately 3.5–15 kg.
Check the fit
Fasten it snugly around the waist and legs. Tuck the leg elastics into the underwear line and check there are no large gaps.

You don’t have to switch full-time
Start with the nappy you received and use it whenever it suits your family. Even one or two reusable changes a day can reduce the number of disposable nappies you buy and throw away.
Once you know what works for your baby, you can gradually add more nappies, different inserts or a wet bag for trips away from home.
